CAMPO HERMOSO
Finca Campo Hermoso, located in Quindio, Colombia, is a third-generation coffee farm led by Edwin Noreña a Q grader and agroindustrial engineer. Edwin has modernized the farm's approach, producing innovative, high-quality coffees that have gained international recognition and been featured in competitions. As
part of the Santuario Project, Campo Hermoso collaborates with other small producers to isolate exceptional lots and deliver standout coffees to global markets.
FERMENTATION
Dry fermentation, also known as the natural process, involves drying the entire coffee cherry with skin, pulp and mucilage still attached, allowing a fermentation process that imparts natural sugars and fruity flavors to the bean. The coffee is dried on large raised beds or patios for several weeks, requiring careful monitoring and regular turning to ensure even drying.
