Our Story

Dawn Patrol was established in 2014, in Kangarilla South Australia. Centred in one of the states finest wine regions, we now operate from our permanent head quarters in scenic Mclaren Vale. 

Our cellar door approach to coffee is what drives us as a business. We believe that through enthusiasm and experience and passion, we can get you as excited about coffee as we are. This is made possible in our cellar door, where you can sample all of our current offerings, and learn more about coffee than you ever thought possible. 

We aim for 100% traceability at Dawn Patrol, which means that we know exactly where our beans come from, who grows them and how they were processed. We seek to only buy, roast and deliver exceptional and delicious coffees sourced from some of the best coffee growers in the world - who strive to to produce their coffee beans ethically and sustainably.

Dawn Patrol - Mclaren Vale 

Visit us at our HQ, in Mclaren Vale. This is the centre of our operation where we roast on site, offer training and operate our Cellar Door. Here, you can try from a wide range of our offerings at our Brew Bar. We have a range of both filter and espresso choices on our menu which changes seasonally. We have a range of both filter and espresso choices on our menu which changes seasonally. We are open 7 days a week 8am - 4pm, with reduced hours on Public Holidays. Food includes a small bagel menu, pastries and sweet ( GF options available )

 

Dawn Patrol - FKA

Our flagship store is located in Rundle Place. Open 7 days a week 7am - 5pm on weekdays and 9am - 5pm on weekends. We have brought our cellar door approach to the heart of the city. You can find a range of our filters and espresso offerings, have a bite to eat and enjoy state of the art coffee technology including the Mod Bar espresso machine. Please note, we do not offer tastings at this location.
